Thanks for being here. We are Andrew and Lourdes and we have two young daughters and a cat named Winnie. We are city folk from Toronto who after volunteering at local organic farms for several years, decided we wanted to find land of our own where we would be able to connect with nature, use regenerative farming techniques and rediscover lost ancestral holistic practices while building a strong community. In 2020, while Lourdes completed the holistic nutrition program at IHN, we viewed a 53 acre property in the Haliburton Highlands. One step out of the car and we knew this was a place where we could create our unique path. With its picturesque views of rolling hills, greenery and bright sky’s, it reminded us of a trip we took to Isle of Skye in Andrew’s ancestral home, Scotland. Highland of Skye was born and we got busy planting and harvesting organic garlic leading to the creation of Seed and Bulb @ Highland of Skye. The magic continued when in 2022, Lourdes launched Two of Earth @ Highland of Skye which focused on ancestral tallow skincare. We currently split our time between Toronto and Haliburton and we have big visions for what this will become. Excited to have you here on this magical ride.
